Time with Adra and Bri - Part 3

The sunlight of the morning was cheerful, welcoming a new day into its embrace and waking up the world. And while it was welcoming to most, Brianne was not so enthusiastic about it being morning. Sweat bands about her forehead and wrists, she was running down one of the paths through the woods on her morning run, now wishing she had stayed home in bed, but once out the door, she may as well finish the route. Coming around to the back of the Inn, she slowed to a walk once it was in sight, allowing her muscles to slow relax once more and come down from the physical exertion of running.

Baaaaaaaa came the bleating as the little white sheep came running across the back lawn. Her short little legs carried the creature over the plush grass until she had reached Bri, bleating up at her for some petting and for a welcome back. Of course Brianne obliged, giving her a good rubdown before her hands sought out the message container and retrieved the note, which...at the very least Adra had marked "yes". Flipping it over and back, she gave a shrug, thinking perhaps he would have added a note of his own, but alas, there was none. Giving the sheep another pat, the creature ran off to find the bowl of water and some food back in the stalls around side of the Inn.

Brianne, on the other hand, skipped back into the Inn though the back door, pausing in the kitchen to fetch herself an apple before heading up to shower and prepare for her day. Now smelling clean and crisp, curls brushed, and her puppy fed, she sat down to write another note.

Dear Shanel,

I do hope you still have the tickets available for the show in two nights. It seems that I have a date after all and would love to make this a memorable part of our evening. If possible, I will pick them up from the main usher the night of the event.

Thanks again for the offer of them!
Brianne

Folded up and into an envelope it went, and then she dripped a bit of wax on it and pressed a small charm in, sealing it tight. Then down to the door she ran, waiting for the letter carrier to arrive to send it off, her mind next going to what she was going to wear and what to pick out for Adratha!
